Lincolnshire is not your typical suburban bedroom community, but it’s not strictly business either. The village masterfully blends diverse business, hospitality, entertainment, and retail with nature, recreation, and residential areas.
Housing in the picturesque village includes single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums nestled among parks, green spaces, and forest preserves.
Several office parks house prominent employers with a workforce of thousands and square footage in the millions.
Lincolnshire is home to several hotels including Marriott’s sprawling Lincolnshire Resort with 170 acres of hotel rooms, restaurants, lounges, a PGA championship golf course, event space, and an acclaimed live musical theater that draws audiences from throughout the region. For those who prefer their entertainment on the big screen, Lincolnshire’s massive movie theater has 21 screens to fit the bill.
The village is also a shopping and dining destination with fine dining restaurants, national chains, and several specialty shops. Popular local events include the Taste of Lincolnshire and an annual art festival. A number of public parks can also be found throughout the community.
Lincolnshire is bordered by I-94, with an interchange at Route 22, Milwaukee Avenue, and other major arterial streets as well. Commuter trains stop in nearby communities such as Vernon Hills and Buffalo Grove.

Bannockburn Office
Located approximately 30 miles from Chicago, Bannockburn is a community known for its plentiful open spaces and unique character. The rural community was first settled in 1835 when Irish immigrants arrived in the area. Scottish architect and builder William Aitken then brought residential development to the community after planning an inland of country estates across more than 100 acres of land. Bannockburn was ultimately incorporated as a village in 1929, at which time there were 30 families living in the town.
Both long-time residents and newcomers to Bannockburn enjoy the privacy afforded by homes on Bannockburn’s large lots and carefully planned landscape buffers. You can feel as if you’re living in the country while being minutes away from the neighboring communities of Lincolnshire, Highland Park, Lake Forest, and Deerfield, as well as 45 minutes away from Chicago via car or commuter Metra train.
The Village of Bannockburn offers all the conveniences and amenities of fine suburban living — excellent schools, including Bannockburn Elementary School District 106, a one-facility district of approximately 200 students from Bannockburn and neighboring communities. The town also boasts great shopping, local businesses and a friendly community.
