Gwen Goro is a licensed broker associate with @properties Goose Island office.
Gwen grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and promptly moved to the city after graduating from the University of Illinois Urbana- Champaign. Currently residing in Uptown, the North side of Chicago has become her specialty but it is not the only area she services. Gwen enjoys taking in the beauty of Chicago and pushes to experience all parts of it in her work and personal life.
Gwen comes from a family deeply rooted in the real estate industry. Her grandfather, Roy Benson, founded Benson Realty and her father, Chuck Goro, was the managing broker of Coldwell Banker's Lincoln Park office. Her sisters, Taira Doherty and Grace Goro Kaage, are top-producing agents, and her other sister, Julie Braglia, is a mortgage broker. Through her family members' knowledge and experiences, Gwen has been speaking real estate since childhood.
Gwen is an active member of the Chicago Association of REALTORS® Young Professionals Network and is a member of the Chicago Association of REALTORS®. Gwen also is a board member for the Prostate Cancer League, a registered 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness to fight prostate cancer. In her free time, she enjoys trying new recipes, volunteering at animal shelters, spending time with her family, and spoiling her 11-year-old mini poodle.
