Melissa began her career in Real Estate over 12 years ago, when she and her husband Athith, a skilled carpenter and designer started buying, restoring and selling homes at a profit in the Northwest Suburbs. During this time, Melissa has learned hands on how to run a successful business. She became knowledgeable about the art of making a house a home thus improving its salability. Melissa Khamkhounnavong has been an entrepreneur since Middle School. Her first experience in sales was selling children’s clothing to many of her babysitting clients. She quickly became a top producer within the company. Later, after graduating from High School, Melissa further distinguished herself by becoming a top performer in wireless sales and eventually moving into IT sales for a Fortune 500 company at the ripe old age of 20. After 7 years of continued success in IT sales, Melissa then decided she needed a change which led her to becoming a Realtor. Today she is a dedicated, confident and creative Realtor, willing to do whatever it takes to help you buy or sell your home. She draws upon lessons learned in her background to better guide her clients to achieve their Real Estate goals.
In her free time, Melissa can be found acting. She has worked in commercials and on the hit NBC show Chicago Fire. She is also passionate about fostering dogs and helping local homeless people in the Northwest Suburbs and Chicago. Melissa treats everyone in her life as if they were family which is a trait that leads her to better understand and serve the needs of others.
